Introduction
Over the hedge is a computer-animated comedy film that tell the story about the meaning of honest, friendship and kinship. The story begins when RJ, a raccoon, is foraging for snacks in a 
vending machine, but that attempt fails. So, He decide to steal the food from a bear named Vincent. Then, he fails again, Vincent know what is RJ doing and Vincent are getting angry. Meanwhile, a group of foraging animals wake up from their hibernation and RJ try to deceive them to get all the food back.

Climax
Before RJ can tell Vern about his real plans, he gets the idea of getting all the food back by stealing Glady`s house as she prepare for a big party. Using Stella to lure her cat Tiger away, the others break in to steal the food, but they are caught when Gladys wakes up and find them in her kitchen. At that time RJ tell the truth about his plans when he`s getting a can of Spuddies. The raccoon goes to turn the food to Vincent and leaving the others to be captured by Dawyne. But when Vincent compares RJ`s methods to his own, he realizes that he`s got real friends and true family. He steals the food wagon, destroying the supplies again to rescue the others. 

Ending
In the end, RJ apologizes for his actions. Vern tells him if he told them, they would have helped because that`s what family does each other. Overcome with his emotions, RJ and Hammy share a warm hug. RJ becomes one of the family.

Comments
This is the best animated film for a long time, and it's probably the best film I've seen about cute animals trying to protect their home. The jokes are good and it’s very entertaining. I really like this film.

Moral value
Honesty is the important thing in this life
and you`re not alone, because you have a family.
